Photo essay (page 407) 2 pic (original) minimum Directions are in your workbook, but I will type up directions for next class period and answer additional clarifying questions. 2. Latin Root -TEMP practice   Due today: Any Unit 4 work for Progress Grades Double chunk paragraph from page 408 (minimum 2 CDs from two different sources) Pair are authorized. Be sure to put both of your names on your paragraph. Agenda: 1. New story (assigned groups) new handouts Only one handout per group member needs to be submitted. "In La Riconada, Peru, Searching for Beauty in Ugliness" pages 419-424 2. Two discussion questions: How did this reading relate to the essential question? What similarities, differences and or observations did you find between this story and "The Golden Touch"? 3. Last 30 minutes (Late work, absent work, brainstorm photo essays ideas, start homework handouts)

Due to testing there was no time to check off homework. ("The Golden Touch" Analyze the Text on page 457 and Analyze Craft and Structure on page 458.) Please tear out your homework workbook papers and turn them into me next class period. You may also use notebook paper.  Friday grade deadline! Late projects, quiz corrections for your novel quiz and unit 4 work is all due this Friday! Tear out notebook papers as I may not have time to check off workbooks and want to make sure you get credit for grades. Homework: "The Golden Touch" Assignments These are due in two classes. Do Analyze the Text on page 457 and Analyze Craft and Structure on page 458. Due today: I.R. pages 648 and 649. Bring this next class if you forgot. Late essays and old work from the last unit. Agenda: Review the paragraph prompt on page 408. Fill out the TS statement on page 409 and brainstorm before you start writing you paragraph. Pairs are authorized. Make up quizzes.
